For over a decade, America watched as one of the most charismatic and effective leaders of the 20th century helped bring an end to segregation. Martin Luther King, Jr.: An Amazing Grace chronicles the life of the civil rights fighter through newsreel footage and film from his speeches. Beginning with the Bus Boycott in Montgomery, AL, King stood shoulder to shoulder with his struggling followers. Jailed, harassed, and eventually murdered, he demonstrated strength in the face of oppression and an eternal willingness to sacrifice for the cause. This documentary remembers his journey.
