Initially, Saber was a suave English cop working in the U.S.; later, the character was transformed into a one-armed PI based in England in a series called 'The Vise.' Other titles attached to the drama include 'Detective's Diary' (in syndication), 'Mystery Theater' and 'Saber of London.'
