A year in the life of Mariachi Halcon, a top-ranked high-school mariachi ensemble from Zapata High School in Zapata, Texas. The documentary tracks the group from the auditions at the start of the school year to graduation, and includes its appearance at the 2010 Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza in San Antonio.
