This tongue-in-cheek, light comedy about a husband's maladjustment to his wife's infidelity is entertaining throughout -- though it has a slight sag in the middle. Julius (Heiner Lauterbach) finds out his beloved Paula (Ulrike Kriener) is cheating on him after 12 years of marriage, and his apple cart is totally overturned. He asks for time off from work, leaves home, and starts spying on Paula as a full-time job. Once he finds out her lover is an artist from a local commune, he gets the insane idea of joining the commune as the artist's roommate -- maybe not such a good idea in the end.
