A 15-year-old girl blossoming into a young woman feels the first stirrings of love. Her father leaves her alone for a few days and worries about his shy and socially withdrawn daughter. She responds to her first kiss from an older boy who is ridiculed for his amorous pursuit by his less-mature peers. The young girl comes out of her shell when she realizes that boys may indeed be attracted to her in this sentimental story of love's first yearnings.
