Synopsis by Nathan Southern
In the tradition of such features as I Am Curious. . . Yellow and The French Lieutenant's Woman, Tunisian director Nouri Bouzid's experimental feature Making Of layers one narrative within another. The "internal" film concerns a Middle Eastern breakdancer named Bahta who falls prey to Islamic militants after 9/11, and is brainwashed and prepped for a suicide bombing mission. In the framing story, the actor cast as Bahta argues with Bouzid over how the terrorist story will end.
