Japanese anime finally produces a comedy to match the taste and erudition of Beavis and Butthead with this outrageous and off-the-wall animated series. Make Way for the Ping Pong Club follows the adventures of six hygienically challenged, hormonally overloaded, and intellectually lackadaisical boys from a Japanese high school who have one socially acceptable outlet for their goofiness -- ping pong. However, after they're defeated by the girl's table tennis team in a school tournament, the guys have a long road ahead of them as they struggle to regain what remains of their dignity. Make Way for the Ping Pong Club was compiled from eight 15-minute episodes from the original Japanese television show.
