Octavia, a society girl (Seena Owen), throws over Teddy Westlake (A.D. Sears) in favor of old Colonel Beaupree (F.A. Turner). She marries him, and meanwhile Westlake goes to work on the Colonel's ranch. When Beaupree dies, Octavia discovers that the ranch is all he's left her, so she goes out West and finds Westlake is the manager. He has resolved not to let Octavia into his heart again but, predictably, they wind up together, their romance expedited by the troubles caused by corrupt overseer Jose Alvarez (Sam deGrasse). This picture was based on an O. Henry story Madame Bo-Peep of the Ranches.
