In this animated sci-fi adventure from Japan, two fighter pilots, Guld Goa Bowman and Isamu Dyson, turn from friends to enemies when they both fall in love with the same woman, Myung. Myung is the manager/programmer of "virtual idol" Sharon Apple, a singing star who isn't aware she was created by a computer. Macross Plus I is adapted from a popular Japanese television series; this was followed by three more volumes in the Macross Plus series.
