Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A heartbroken Los Angeles art student from Mexico falls for a pretty Canadian on the mend from a bad relationship, but over time the couple finds their blossoming romance challenged by a variety of unforeseen obstacles. At the onset of their whirlwind romance, Paul and Sofi found that their differences were precisely what made their relationship so invigorating and exciting. But later, when Sofi returns to Vancouver and Paul begins to grow insecure over the status of their burgeoning relationship, the cultural and philosophical gaps begin to push them apart, rather than bring them closer together. As any hope of a normal relationship all but impossible, both attempt to summon the strength needed to make love work, and gradually begin to learn a few things about themselves in the process.
