Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Lee Myung-se, director and writer of 1999's Nowhere to Hide and 2005's The Duelist, returns to the helm for this supernatural melodrama concerning a tormented writer haunted by strange visions. Min-woo (Gang Dong-won)'s first novel was a massive success, but these days the up-and-coming writer can't even manage to pen a simple paragraph much less take control of his own life. Late at night, when the darkness consumes his room, Min-woo begins to see what old photographs materializing out of thin air right before his eyes. Though the images are strangely familiar, he can't seem to place them or recognize the people who linger in the ghostly frames. As each night grows longer, every sunrise brings another day of alienation and confusion. Later, as the smitten Mimi (Lee Yeon-hee) intones the first notes of "Mist" for Min-woo, faded recollections of his first love begin flickering somewhere deep within, prompting the author to recall his more carefree early years.
