Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Patricia Chase (Clara Kimball Young) ignores her husband, Alvin (J. Barney Sherry), in favor of the younger, better-looking Wallace Graham (Niles Welch). Graham, however, is in love with Margery Burkley (Madge Kennedy), a stenographer. The young couple marry, but Patricia is determined to destroy their relationship. When their baby (Buddy Harris) is born, she infers that the child's father could actually be Theodore Stanhope (Richard Bennett), an older millionaire who has been hanging around Margery. Then, to make matters worse for Graham, she has him accused of embezzlement and he is thrown into jail. When he gets out, he believes fully that his wife and Stanhope were having an affair, and decides to run away with Patricia. When she sees his baby crying, Patricia has a change of heart. It turns out that Stanhope is actually Margery's long-lost father, and she is reunited with Graham. Patricia tries to return to her long-suffering husband, but he is fed up with her and casts her out. Producer/directorIvan Abramson specialized in morality plays in the 1910s, but during the Roaring Twenties, his stories seemed overwrought and stale.
