Haunted by the death of her mother and struggling to recover from a nervous breakdown she experienced while still in high school, a young college freshman finds her devastating inner-pain manifesting it through a self-destructive sexual addiction in director Lee Bennett Sobel's dark, introspective drama. When Zoé lost her mother, her entire world came crashing down all around her. A straight "A" college student who has since buried herself in her studies as a way to suppress her deep emotional scarring, Zoé soon turns to sex as a means to numb the pain that won't seem to go away. Though at first pleasurable and distracting, the physical sensations that she takes solace in soon begin to consume her both body and mind as she falls into a deep pit of depravity that threatens to ruin her entire live.
