Filmed in Italy by a British crew, Love is a Carousel features several fleeting celebrities of the 1970s as "themselves." What passes for a plot involves a young girl who escapes her sexually abusive household by heading to Europe. Here she is enveloped by the Anti-Establishment scene, where everything goes. Rather than return home in defeat, the girl finds she likes the counterculture-even the weirder aspects. Guest stars in Love is Carousel include Icarus, Eleanor Gary and Tee Jay Johnson; also, keep an eye out for future Dukes of Hazzard star John Savage.
