Lai Kai-keung spins this wacky gangster yarn cum romantic comedy. Yung Siu-wing (Simon Ya Tat-wah) is a triad crime boss with a heart of gold. After serving a ten-year prison sentence on drug charges after getting ratted out by an undercover cop, Yung returns to his home only to learn that his adulterous wife has spent all of his fortune on gambling and leather miniskirts. Worse, his daughter has turned into a street tough. One day, a beautiful lass named Lau Yuk-ching (Cecilia Yip Tung) asks for a loan from one of his underlings. Yung is instantly bowled over by her and not only gives her the money but also fends off her numerous creditors. Later when her cheating boyfriend dumps her, Yung proposes. Yet, during the wedding, the priest refuses to marry the two unless Yung gives up his criminal ways. Though he agrees, he learns that the straight and narrow is a hard row to hoe.
