Typical of its source network, this Home & Garden Television spin on Blind Date and The Bachelor toned down mercenary sensationalism in favor of intelligent design sense. Each episode featured a bachelor or bachelorette who selected a potential date on the basis of how his or her home was decorated. Should the "candidate" appeal to the would-be suitor despite decoration deficiencies, design expert Dee Dee Taylor Hannah would try to bring the couple closer together by creating a mutually compatible home makeover.
