The Locke Monster, Sayid and Jack venture to Hydra Island to rescue the castaways held by Widmore. Their goal is to get to the Ajira jet, but Jack says that he's not meant to go. And in L.A., Jack tells Locke he's a "candidate" for surgery that could enable him to walk again. Also in the hospital, Claire seeks out Jack, who offers to put her up while she's in L.A. "We're family," he tells her.
