Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
This animated, children's version of Gulliver's Travels features the adventurous Englishman in Brobdingnag, the land of giants. Well-animated, entertaining, and geared for the moppet set, this charming presentation is shorn of the political implications of Jonathan Swift's classic. Before he is finally tossed out on the high seas again, Gulliver is menaced by a giant crab, a hungry cat, a hornet (fought off in a duel between Gulliver's sword and the hornet's stinger), and other animals. In the meantime, the tiny adventurer has problems beyond his diminutive size -- the court jester is jealous of him and may get him in trouble with the good Prince Flinap.
