Inspired by the gruesome historical crime that shocked the nation, the Lifetime Original Movie Lizzie Borden Took an Ax stars Christine Ricci as the eponymous, outwardly demure Sunday School teacher from Boston, Massachusetts who, in 1892, became the prime suspect in her own parents' horrific murder. As young Lizzie's case goes to trial, her lawyer Andrew Jennings (Billy Campbell) fights for her freedom amidst a sea of scandal. Clea Duvall, Stephen McHattie, and Gregg Henry co-star.
