Internationally known naturalist and broadcaster of wildlife programs David Attenborough leads viewers on a 12-part expedition to the world's major habitats, showing how plants and animals have adapted to their unique surroundings. The entertaining and inspirational programs reveal places and sounds never before captured by cameras. In volume 12, New Worlds, Attenborough ponders the future of the planet. The natural scientist explores the ways in which humans have damaged the environment and how man has created new habitats for plants and animals. It examines the fate of the winners and losers of this process and looks at the possible long-term implications of change.
