The six-part series Living Islam documents the ideologies and culture of Islam in efforts to establish an understanding of the conflicts between Muslim countries and the Western world. The documentary was produced by the BBC and is hosted by anthropologist Akbar Ahmad. The Last Crusade examines the Islamic revival occurring around the globe. It probes the underlying currents of this Muslim reform and explores the elements of change, which radicals seek, as well as the chances for peaceful transformation.
