Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this lackluster picture, Fox tries unsuccessfully to stuff June Caprice into a Mary Pickford mold. Her character, Lucy White, is a cheery young country girl who supports herself and her grandmother (Sara Alexander) by selling yeast. Sadie Allen (Zena Keefe) has been living in the city and makes a sad return to the village -- while away, she married Max Barker (Leo Kennedy), but he soon grew tired of her and deserted her and their baby. She asks Lucy to take care of the child so that she doesn't incur her father's wrath. Lucy -- who loves children -- not only obliges, she proceeds to tell everyone that the baby is hers, including Sadie's brother Dave (Harry Hilliard), who has just come home from college and is in love with her. But Max comes around, looking for Sadie, and the estranged pair reconcile, saving Lucy's reputation and her relationship with Dave.
