Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This is a simple little silent about botanist Paul Edgarton (Thomas Jefferson), who travels the world with his daughter Eve (Ella Hall) in search of rare specimens. The third person in the party is Edgarton's elderly partner, whom he wants to marry his daughter. The bookish Eve doesn't have any real protests against this situation -- all she really wants is to settle down and have a home. But at a convention in California, she meets flirtatious young Easterner James Barton (Herbert Rawlinson). He is completely different from anyone Eve has ever known before and eventually they fall in love. Edgarton realizes there is no way his pal can compete with Barton, and he lets Eve have her choice. This picture was based on a book by Eleanor H. Abbott.
