Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Mohawk filmmaker Reaghan Tarbell follows her roots to a Mohawk community in Brooklyn, New York with camera in hand while exploring the contributions that her people made to the city and the trials that they endured while attempting to support their extended families. In a ten square block area in the North Gowanus section of Brooklyn is a place known as Little Caughnawaga. It was here that the Kahnawake Mohawks of Quebec, Canada would choose to settle and start a growing community. While the men earned a living as skilled ironworkers, the story of the women has gone virtually untold until now.
