Synopsis by Janiss Garza

While Henry Lehrman's L-KO studios rarely released any notable comedies, they often used excellent players. This two-reeler, for example, features Oliver Hardy, several years before he teamed up with Stan Laurel. Also in the cast is former Keystone comedian Bobby Dunn and character comedienne Rosa Gore, who, along with Hardy, would eventually go to work for Hal Roach. Another player is Harry Mann, who would replace Charles Chaplin impersonator Billy West a few months after his stint at L-KO. The plot -- what there is of it -- involves the men taking their wives on a drive in an extremely moody Model T. Their picnicking is interrupted by various animals and birds, and also the presence of someone by the name of Moonstruck Mike, who is trying unsuccessfully to flirt with a young lady. She refuses his ride, and the cops eventually show up. Mayhem ensues and all the principals wind up diving into the ocean. Silly stuff, and really a waste of first-class talent.
