Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced, written and directed in Northern California by Harry Revier, this Northwoods melodrama starred Roy Stewart as Dick Osborne, a Royal Mounted police officer falsely accused of dallying with Nan Cumberland (Louise Lovely) despite the fact that he is engaged to Nan's new stepdaughter Dorothy (Dorothy Valegra). When Nan is found murdered, her husband Julio (Harry van Meter) points the finger at Dick. The real killer, however, proves to be the dead woman's jealous first husband John Carver (Eugene Burr), who is made to confess by a desperate Dorothy. Making her screen debut, former dancer Dorothy Valegra married her director and embarked on a lengthy career as Dorothy Revier. Later the first star created by newcomer Columbia Pictures, the raven-haired, regal-looking Dorothy would become known as "The Caviar of Poverty Row."
