Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman
Anton Corbijn (Control) helms this intimate behind-the-scenes look at the photoshoot and friendship between rising star James Dean (Dane DeHaan) and photographer Dennis Stock (Robert Pattinson), which yielded the iconic images that appeared in Life magazine in 1955. When Stock meets Dean he knows there is something special about the shy young man and convinces his editor to allow him to shoot him for a spread that will coincide with the release of Dean's East of Eden. The images of the 24 year-old were some of his last, as Dean died tragically a few months later. Cast includes Joel Edgerton, Alessandra Mastronardi, Stella Schnabel and Ben Kingsley.
