As the citizens of Lidsville prepare to elect a new mayor, evil magician Hoo Doo (Charles Nelson Reilly) tries to rig the outcome of the election. Hoo Doo's hand-picked candidate is "Mr. Big," who is the villain's puppet in every sense of the word. Can Lidsville's "favorite son," Tex the Ten-Gallon Hat, win the vote despite Hoo Doo's blatant cheating? This Lidsville episode is a remake of sorts of the H.R. Pufnstuf installment "The Almost Election of Mayor Witchiepoo."
