This delightful video is comprised of highlights from the Captain's TV show. The clips are culled from Captain Kangaroo's color years (1966 onward) with faithful Mr. Greenjeans (Hugh "Lumpy" Brannun) wrangling the most of the zoo animals highlighted herein. As always, Captain Kangaroo (Bob Keeshan) is very careful not to display dangerous or overly nervous animals. Let's Go to the Zoo... is part of CBS' Library Playhouse series.
