Jean Beaudry and Denis Bouchard, the stars of 1984's Jacques and November, were reteamed in 1989's Les Matins Infidels. Jean plays a would-be author, while Denis is his closest confidante. When the author suffers from writer's block, his friend pulls every trick in the book to inspire his pal. There's not much more story than that; it's the characterizations that carry the day. Les Matins Infidels was produced, directed and written by Francois Bouvier.
