Writer/director Paul Thinel details the struggles of up and coming musicians in this cynical comedy concerning a record company contest and the band that takes the prize. Having honed his skills as a musician with his friends in their band Les Immortels, Sorel steel worker Paul McMullen and his bandmates shift into high gear when local recording giant Cosak announces that the winner of their latest contest will win a contract to record their debut CD. Though Cosak owner Giroux sees potential in Les Immortels, his associate Patrice does everything in his power to make their rise to fame as difficult as possible.
