Starring Michael Trempont and Valerie Chevalier, this 121-minute rendition of Offenbach's operetta Les Brigands was performed in full by Lyon Opera. Rather than imposing the traditional translation chronicling the goings on of an Italian group of mountain bandits, this production features the protagonists in the mean streets of Chicago.
