Beaver (Jerry Mathers) wants to get a much-coveted paper route. Unfortunately, another kid pretends to be sick and doesn't show up at school -- giving the kid plenty of time to apply for and land that job. Understandably, Beaver is down in the dumps at this turn of events, and intends to punch his rival in the nose. That's when our hero discovers that the new paperboy isn't a boy at all!
