Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Beaver (Jerry Mathers), Larry (Rusty Stevens), and Whitey (Stanley Fafara) each purchase a some pigeons for the purpose of starting a bird-raising club. Beaver's pigeons, named after his teachers Miss Landers and Miss Canfield, are put in Wally's care when Beav comes down with chicken pox. Alas, once he recovers, he is given some bad news...involving a hungry cat! (Interestingly, author Beverly Cleary's novelization of this episode in the Arrow Book Club paperback version of Leave It to Beaver has a different outcome, with nary a bird harmed in the process).
