Geared specifically to young audiences, Learning Chinese and English Together helps foster the development of bilingual skills in spoken and written English and Mandarin for children of between nine months and five years old. The program uses distinct and engaging imagery to keep children concurrently entertained and deeply involved in the learning process. This release actually features three 20-minute programs -- Chinese and English together, Chinese only, and English only; parents may use the first segment to help young viewers acquire a knowledge and understanding of singular words and phrases as translations from English to Mandarin (and vice versa), before they develop a deeper and more thorough knowledge of the individual languages one at a time, with the Chinese only and English only episodes.
