The Learning Company's Learning to Read with Phonics series of videos is based on their Reader Rabbit characters, and offers an introduction to the fundamental skills needed in reading. Each tape is divided into five 15-minute segments, which allow parents to stop the tape after each lesson. In Learning to Read with Phonics: Reading and Counting, the young reader-to-be continues the series of basic lessons, which are delivered in an entertaining manner.
