Chan Tung-chuen directs this action-adventure flick cum court room drama. Shen Hwa-min (Ray Lui Leung-wai) is a successful Hong Kong barrister who learns that his brother is fleeing a murder rap in mainland China. Of course, before he can defend his sibling, he has to find him, which proves to be no easy matter since he is also being pursued by undercover cop Tieh-pin (Veronica Yip Yuk-hing) and a mob assassin hired by the victim's relatives. Meanwhile, mainland defense lawyer Wu Bin-chin (Lam Wai) tries to convince a witness who might be able to clear Shen's brother to testify.
