After being laid off from the brewery, Laverne (Penny Marshall) and Shirley (Cindy Williams) are hired as taxi dancers at a rundown dance emporium. At first the girls are delighted at being surrounded by eligible men--but the bloom soon wears off the rose as they are forced to dance with one sleazebag after another. This episode includes the classic scene in which Shirley uses several wads of tissue paper to enhance her--uh--attributes. ("Too much?")
