Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this unusual drama, a fiftyish man who has lost interest in life, women, and everything else, gets a new lease on life when Laura, who is 30 years younger than him, enters his life. At first this seems an unequivocal blessing, but it seems that she has chosen to hound and harangue him during their once-a-week meetings. It has something to do with her previous life, as shown through a kaleidoscope of flashbacks. The story is based on a novel by Suzanne Jacob.
