This documentary concerns the world-renowned piano genius Arthur Rubenstein. Early home movies taken by his wife accompany the interview of the great maestro. Rubenstein plays not only classical but jazz and tango music. He discusses the importance of music, not only in his life, but as a common thread that links humankind together in this feature that appeared at the 1969 Cannes Film Festival.
