Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
There are sizeable French-speaking minorities in all the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, and this French-language documentary deals with a student protest in New Brunswick at the University of Moncton in 1969-70. While it is very long, this documentary is a valuable historical record of one of the many Canadian efforts to come to grips with the notion of bilingualism.
