Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
The life of a sculptor paralyzed by fear of the society in which he lives is examined in this slow, thoughtful Italian experimental film, which is beautifully photographed. Except for flashbacks showing the artist's earlier life, the entire story takes place in his underground studio.
