Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The time is 1808 and Napoleon's French army is invading Spain. They are about to conquer Barcelona and Madrid, and put Napoleon's brother Joseph Bonaparte on the Spanish throne -- for awhile, anyway. The legend that this film portrays is about a drummer boy who was pivotal in turning the tide against the invading French army at Bruch Pass, saving the day for the Catalan soldiers. A final, grand battle highlights the climax of the film, certainly geared for the younger set.
