Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This drama is based on Columbian folklore of Mohana, the goddess of the Caribbean. On his wedding night, an accordion-playing fisherman is whisked away by Mohana. Folk music is added effectively to this love story that suffers from uneven performances and editing. The film still managed to win the top prize for "Best Music" at the Nantes Festival and "Best First Film" at the eighth Havana Film Festival.
