A cataclysmic event severs the Earth into two halves, likewise separating the world's population into two halves. The Southern Axis flies into space, settling light years away, and the humans on either half have been developing separately. Eventually, the Southerners are able to return to the Northern half of Earth, but much to their surprise, they find freakish beast-people living in place of the humans who once dwelled there. Expecting a world akin to their own, the Southerners forget that the Northerners are confused by the people they find who are so different both physically and culturally. Can these two once united, now disparate peoples maintain equitable perspectives of each other, and live in harmony?
