Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In his sixth children's feature, director, writer, and editor Karst van der Meulen has chosen a story about Freddie, a young boy whose parents have been arguing and making homelife pretty miserable -- so Freddie leaves. He soon joins up with several other children (of divorced or separated parents) who are looking for a new place to meet since the old shed that was their favorite haunt is being torn down. As the search for new digs progresses, Freddie encounters all sorts of families in many different situations, and he starts to gain some perspective on why his parents might be arguing and what it means when parents separate. When it is time to go back home again, Freddie has gained some insights that might even help his own mother and father.
