In 1990, theatrical rock stalwarts KISS were touring in support of their album Hot In The Shade when the group's founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley granted an in-depth interview following a concert in Georgia. KISS: Rock and Roll Legends features footage from this chat, as Simmons and Stanley talk about the band's history, their relationships with past and current band members, the ups and downs of life on the road, and the possibilitiy of reuniting the classic lineup with full makeup. The program also includes a short 1992 chat with Paul Stanley in which he talks about the then-recent death of Eric Carr and the band's desire to restore their former glory with the album Revenge.
