When ultra-intelligent college student Priyamwada attempts some matchmaking between one of her close friends and Sajan, a soft spoken and studius senior, it looks as if things are going nowhere. Sajan claims that his only ambition in life is his schoolwork, but Priyamwada suspects otherwise. It turns out that Sajan comes from a once rich family that has only recently gone bankrupt--so much so that Sajan cannot afford to pay his tuition. Priyamwada's friend immediately drops any romantic notions she may have had, but Priyamwada has developed a crush on Sajan herself, and sets off to help him out of his financial rut.
