Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This youth-oriented Yugoslavian adventure has two young children helping their grandfather to flee the oncoming Germans. He joins a convoy of boats to a free island, but has engine trouble and must turn back. Shot and captured by the Germans, he is helped by his two wards, though in the end he sacrifices himself so that they can escape to safety.
