Booster Gold, a self-loathing deadbeat from the 25th century, travels backward to "our" time in hopes of finding a place for himself in the world -- any world. Linking up with the Justice League, Booster Gold is assigned to "crowd control" during an epic battle between the Leaguers and the sorcerer Mordru. In the course of events, Booster inadvertently finds himself in the thick action -- and the situation doesn't make him feel one teeny tiny bit better about himself.
